Me, i change when i feel the torque dropping off, regardless of revs.
After 5200 then lol

very few people run sard injectors mate, most are off rx-7s 60 quid a set. was considering twin scroll myself, vf38 or one of those, whats your spool up like?
on a forged setup on a big turbo in my case i need to raise it as my boost is not coming in till late thats what i would like to find out what can i raise it too , i think the thread took its own path lol
on a big turbo setup i would recomend 8000 rpm shifting. trust me it makes a big difference.
what turbo you running gedis.
with my 05 at 1.5 bar i really dont see it being much quicker than an 04 to 100 as im still on stock limiter though after it when the revo just doesnt shoot up is where its at best.
on the 05 its wasted on stock limiter i feel.
i rev to 8500, but then again i get full boost at 5500-5800rpm and peak power is at 7700rpm, best is to get it mapped and see at what revs you get full power, then ad another 500-1000rpm(depending on other factors, power drop off, final drive etc.)
having second thoughs about this td05 crack now i do feel unless i can raise the limit it a waste , might call out tomorrow for chat we can look at that belt it only squeaks when its raining so prob getting water somehow ,also my arp bolts came today im going to fit them
does e manage not raise that? it sounds like it needs tensioning
yes it can but not sure what a a safe limit to be raising it too , do you have standard springs etc ??

so what you moaning about you pussy :haha:i believe something like 7500-7800 will be enough since you running stock head, as i said get the map done, see how quick power drops off, take it on the road see whats the best point to shift it(usualy just after the peak power) then give another 500 rpm's for things like saving a shift at 1/4mile, over revving and so on and you sucking diesel then :drive:

i rev my corn hole to 44,000 rpm... vtecing the poop out of my plooper////... shit bitch cock ass fuck dick nigger
probs so should be laggy enough on the starlet so high enough on the rev range, on scoobys you don't get full boost till around 4,000-4,500 on that size of tubby.
one thing not mentioned yet is in gear spool up. if we assume we arent short shifting or have anti-lag then regardless of what revs you hit the next gear at a big turbo still has to spool back up again.
certainly on a forged setup you need a bigger turbo than a td04 to make good power over 7000rpm. but there will be a bigger dead spot between gears, its the problem with a 1.3 litre engine. so my opinion is get the smallest turbo that will do your job, will be faster on the road where it counts.
