Am i correct in saying that if i want to do the 4 pin conversion ill have to do the entire TB conversion? I take its not just as simple as swopping and re-wiring the tps?
Many thanks gentlemen
@Sheldon: might just take you up on that offer, only thinkg is im in South Africa, ill see what toyota south africa charges me for that first
thanks again!
Anyone got a part number for the auto tps, or is this a good idea as I might of read somewhere that both the manual and auto has the same part number?
any direct swop tps from another toyota perhaps, or will all need modification to fit?
thanks
:haha: yeah sorry, was very confused since we dont use that term here in South Africa :haha:
i thought he was reffering to the plenum as the "bulk head" :haha: stupid meeee :p
Thanks Sheldon
i probably wont have the sensor then since i purchased the motor from an imporrter and installed it into my EP10 South African Corrolla..
i will probably have to locate the vaccuum where this comes from in the plenum then... will it be coming out from the left side aswell...
so thats the Intake Air Temperature sensor?
any pics of the map sensor? as i was trying to find it, but couldnt..
was trying to locate the orange sticker Idrees was talking about, this was the only sensor i could pickup on the left side..
i will look again for a vaccuum pipe on the left...
heres another example, where the spark plug would actually connect to the bottom and you can see the induvidual coils sitting directly at the top of the plug connector:
yes you correct, this has no plug leads/wires, the actual coil of that specific spark plug sits directly at the top of the actual spark plug connector. Its like individual coils, but eliminating the "wires part"
Something like this:
