Ok so checked all the wiring and turns out im been a retard, it not code 14 i read the flash code instructions completely wrong. there are multiple codes which are 42... 22... 43...45...2 now the instructions say it starts with the lowest code and works up which confused me as there is a 22 in...

So check wiring and connections, do a continuity test on the pin outs? It is a second hand distributor and second hand coil just didn't want to throw money at it if it won't cure it, but thanks il try that tomorrow and let you know the result :)

Last year I bought a sr and did an engine, loom, clocks etc transplant... Have never had it on the road as I lost interest now I need to finish it! When you accelerate at about 2.5k the engine light comes on and limits the power! Now if you keep your foot down it will reach 12psi then hit fuel...

Ok so I'll get the coil and distributor, just the problem with a jumper is then I'll need 82 loom and 91 loom for the ecu plug? I'll continue trying to work out the na loom conversion if all else fails I'll do that. Do you know if the part of the harness that goes into the car (not ecu one) has...

Yeah 97 ep91 with ep82 ecu as the plugs are the same on the na loom, then was told to add in plugs for knock, ignitor and distibutor, intake manifold sensors. Made a start on the loom conversion tonight... What is a jumper harness??

The problem was getting hold of a glanza loom and an ecu for the right price... I paid 30 for the 82 ecu and have read that its not that hard as I am a mechanic myself. Do I need the distributor off the turbo model or would the na one work?
