No it had been flickering a bit a few days before but not on the day or the day before, the light would come on when it was idoling it would flicker very slightly. The light came on when it happened obviously! Also if it blew off, would both threads be perfectly intact?

So there should be no washer?

Hi, On the way home from work yesterday my oil filter blew off. I managed to save the engine before it ceased, and have fitted a new filter and refilled the oil and the car is running ok. Basically my question is, it went pop and it blew off, now could that be caused by the garage not fitting...

I tested mine with my iPhone and a db app and set to the level for bass/deeper noises I got 107 db, in the car on the same function it reached 110! And an average of around 90. It's not too bad, but it does sound awesome!

Hm, ok. But, what is the oil type fluid that is escaping from it!? There was a hissing which would tie in with a leak to the AC gas, but I can't think where this oil is coming from.... It's definitely from there the car isn't leaking elsewhere, you can see it on the intercooler.
