Sorry on a EP82

Hey Guys, Just noticed power steering fluid leaking out of the RH side steering boot on the steering rack. Has anybody had one of these apart and can you replace seal etc in there? TIA

Hey guys, Just an update. I have replaced the LH axle. The new one was slightly longer than original so i'm wondering if someone has put the wrong shaft in at some point. Anyway have taken for a test drive and she's all good now. Thanks for the input.

Sorry forgot to mention both left and right engine mounts have been replace new and the rear one looked in good condition.

Hey guys, Do any of you know if the rubber mount on the LH side is the same for auto and manual boxes? I'm using the auto mount but the holes are out when I go to fit the manual gearbox bracket? Just wondering if there's a difference or not.

I had a look today and by looking at it I don't think it will fit. I have just brought a GT box that came up for sale so I will install that one and keep it simple.

Hey Jay, I'm not sure what model starlet it came from but could find out from the wreckers. It has the mount across the top but I need it on the front side.

Hey guys, Im installing a non GT manual c52 gearbox in my auto GT EP82. Since the manual box is not a GT box it doesn't have the three bolt holes to hold the LH mount. Does anybody know what size bolt it is and how deep the holes are so I can drill and tap some in there? TIA

On the off chance do you know the bolt size for the clutch pressure plate? I know they're 8mm but how long and are they a flanged head bolt?

Hey guys, I'm in the process of converting an EP82 Auto to Manual. I have a N/A C52 gearbox going in but just wondering if I need to change the mount that sits under the battery as it looks like the auto mount won't fit on the manual gearbox? I've trudged through the forum trying to find any...

Hi all, have just purchased a 1991 EP82 GT Starlet. I has done 309,000kms and still original. I have thought maybe about pulling the engine and rebuilding it for piece of mind. Just wondering what kms people have got to before having any issues with engine wear etc?
