Dunno but theres a receipt for £180 setting them up so i'm hoping there set up right and the people that fitted at the time knew what they were doing! Cant fault the way it handles at the mo
fixed it!!
When you put 2 bottom bolts in shock there is a bit of play and obviously i tightened up bolts when the disc was looking a bit pissed and didnt think off it at the time. Loosened up pushed the caliper inwards untill it didnt move any further and then tightened and now it hadles...
Can a top mount on an EP82 only be fitted one way?
Basically I took my suspension off, gone to refit and it now handles all funny. I have either put the shocks on the wrong sides or I have moved the topmounts round somehow in transit.
Cheers
SHould be fine mate, i just fitted glanza suspension to my GT quadlight, no trouble. Just had 3 bolts on top mounts for the fronts insteas of 4 but perfectly ok to fit still
Dont think anything I do is going to make the ride as soft as i want it, either got to go for comfort or handling and seeing as I use it as an everyday carits going to have to be comfort!
Will be going up for sale later
I got the older style ones with the removable pins, I have tried both adjusting as far as i can both ways, makes a bit of difference but not enough! I am such an old man lol
Right, basically took these off yesterday and was just about to put them up for sale.
Replaced with standard shocks with lowering springs. Obviously handled alot better when on the coilovers and got me thinking that there must be away for them to be adjusted so they dont rebound so violently...
Say if i am in 3rd and decide to put my foot down all the way up to the limiter when it reaches say 6-7k the power cuts out then comes back in a second later.
I was thinking:
Crap Fuel
Spark Plugs
Anything else it could be?
