misfire

i know, from basic physics, that electrostatic discharge can be a problem if un-attended in some environments. how 'dangerous' would it be to not earth the TMIC..? anyone..?

If anyone could make any suggestions as to the cause of my problem that would be appreciated! Under heavy load and full boost from 2nd gear upwards when I approach the rev limit the engine stutters, as if it is perhaps mistfiring, or under fuelling. The car has a de-cat and air...
