yes, but bad day. valuable lesson learned that horsepower doesnt always transfer into better times. weejohn was on low boost and my new turbo has decided recently to spool later than before dropping out of power on upshifts. mid 13s for both of us. know what to do for april though.

congrats to animal gt, was his day today, still 0.01 off my last year time though!

You have a fault there though lad, something has give way in your setup.

Seems everyone that arrived today with a completly new setup ran slower. I was chatting to Gary he drives the red turbo Civic (Class 2 Champion) he's up 70hp from last year and was running 0.4 secs slower today.

he was spinning last year with the power he had and if he didnt over come that then 70 hp was the last thing he needed eg: 0.4 sec slower

There's one thing on my car that I changed and I think it was a very silly mistake and has added big time to the wheelspin issue.

I'll know better on the next outting at Bishops Court.

ya once the LSD is in, i would get a very good time, hopeing for 13's next time, two bad starts against Hondas, but i still beat them to the line:p. some serious machines up there

spuddy seams you raced the animal and thats where it all went wrong!! heard you had a 100 or so more bhp than him aswel,and slicks and race fuel and nos;)??? you must be shocked??

Aye lad lol, I was only able to use the gas and high boost in 4th gear, I need to work on a few settings on the car to get it all working in 3rd. I had a nice lead going into 3rd gear and I buggered it up, he wasn't taking prisoners lol!

I'll get another race later in the season sure :)

dunno how your going to get 424bhp to the tarmac, i had a hard job getting 294bhp on the tarmac ( no lsd ). animals car was looking good all day.

A diff will help you out nicely. Was good to meet you btw, always nice to see another Toyota racing.

So next outting is Honda Vrs Toyota, did anyone happen to notice it was a Toyota 1, 2 yesterday :beer:

you too Spuddy, I was up near the top too, not the top 4 tho :(, left a lot of Hondas sitting & an M3

proud day for Toyota, a sign of whats instore.:p

was it just me or was that drag strip alittle uphill?

Aye there's a fair incline on the strip alright, my 0-60fts droped 0.3secs on slicks, was talking to Gary (Red turbo civic) his 0-60fts also dropped 0.3 secs on slicks.

I think there's more grip at the Court and thats saying something!
