Would this have any problems as there is not a breather on the 5e rocker cover as 4e one does have it not sure if it will cause any problems

Thanks

Should be fine if you are building a normal powered engine, around 150hp
Otherwise just drill it and put a fitting in there :)

im not building an engine, i have a 4e at the moment but i have recently aquired a 5e polished rocker cover, one person thinks it will be a problem without a breather on there, i dont want to drill anything i prefer to look without one

i can see it has one in the top right hand corner, but not one between the 1st and 2nd piston, like the 4e cover, so this should be fine?

If your not venting crankcase gases into the inlet manifold then there's no real use for the additional port. If your intending to use the stock PCV valve setup then the cam cover will need a second port.

You could possibly 'modify' the oil filler cap and attach a breather filter to it.

my 5e was kicking oul out of the catch tank breather untill i took the pvc valve out and turned it into a 2nd breather, i then ran both breathers to the catch tank an no more excessive oil out the breather filter now.

but then again its not an average 5e, but prooves there is a limit to needing an extra breather
