5e clutch disc with 4e pressure plate

Has anybody tried a 5e clutch disc with 4e pressure plate on a 4e flywheel. I put one together and the clutch wont disengage. Just wondering if anyone else has iven it a go. I was in a rush so I didnt bother to measure anything.

Which 4E are you talking about???

4EFE and 5E are 200mm clutch

4EFTE is 212mm so wont mix.

If it is a normal 4EFE then it should work fine, so can only think you may have put the clutch plate in wrong way round?

was using a 200mm clutch 5e clutch disc with a 4efte cover plate. Just swapped it to a 4efte plate and works. God 4e feels like balls in comparison
