5E engine bearing clearance

Hello,

I'm busy with my 5E engine , but my crank is damaged and has to go to the machine shop. The guy from the machine shop says to use 0.002''rod and main bearing clearance it doesn't sound right. I have read that the mains have to be a little tighter than the rod bearings.
I have bought 1st oversize KING main, rod bearings and thrust washers.

I'd really like to know which main and rod bearing clearance are good for a 5efte engine.

should i use the the clearance from the 5E shop manual?
Main bearings:
Oil Clearance
Standard Crankshaft MM (inch)
Standard ....................... .0006-.0014 (.016-.035)
Wear Limit ................................ .0031 (.080)
.010" (.25 mm) Undersize Crankshaft
Standard ....................... .0006-.0022 (.016-.055)
Wear Limit ................................ .0031 (.080)

Rod bearings:
Oil Clearance
Standard Crankshaft
Standard ....................... .0006-.0019 (.016-.048)
Wear Limit ................................ .0031 (.080)
.010" (.25 mm) Undersize Crankshaft
Standard ....................... .0006-.0023 (.016-.058)
Wear Limit ................................ .0031 (.080)

0.05mm is good for big ends but nothing bigger.
0.07mm is good for mains but nothing bigger.
Mains can be looser than the big ends put your oil pump must be 110% then.
The oil pressure on the big ends goes lower as the main bearing clearance gets bigger.
Go by the manual :)
