5e using 4e pistons?

Hey lads iv got a 5e engine i belive it to be the hi tourque version, becase the rods are almost as thick as the 4efte one, iv been told that if i fit pistons out of a glanza that il hav a reasonably strong engine, that should deal with about .8 bar boost.... Is this correct, r has any one got experience of a similar set up? I dont really want a expensive forged set up,

Well im not sure about the rods, but the 4e pistons are the same size as 5e ones. BUT it depends on the condish of 5e block, it could need machine work, scratched bores, worn bores, and could need to be machined .25 .5 ect over sized, and your pistones will be useless and your clearances will be out! same as the crank could be.. so i would take measurments ect or send it to an engineere before building a naff engine, not just a case of slapping it together mate

well lads i ve mine done n am running td04 am hoping to get it map at 1.2 bar n the engine i ve run it 1yr half n stil same it
