Im turboing my DIS 5efe and i was gonna run emanage blue cuz i could get by with a base tune for awhile until i could afford a professional tune. Would the apexi safc be able to do the same as emanage, as far as being able to do a base tune at home and still run my 5efte? i plan on running about 15 lbs

might run 12 lbs if 15 cant be ran with unit and i will have all the other supporting mds to run boost on my 5efte dont think i am newbie slapping a turbo on

with that much boost on a DIS 5e i would say your better off with the Blue as you can controll timming. because your 5e would be high compression you will need to controll timming to avoid detination

i was gonna lower the compression a little by putting 4efte pistons on it and the first gen head gasket would that help or would it still be the same princapal since i cant adjust timing

wouldnt risk that much boost unless you have some really good fuel (hight octaine) you would need to take either the boost down or back off some timming

i would say about 5 or 6 psi

will you be using 4efte electronics or 5efe?

sorry just read your first post and saw its a dis 5e

you need to no that there is a lot mor tha just boosting the dis 5e

what do mean theres alot more? i know that u cant use 4efte electronics and stuff and i was just wondering if apexi safc was the same as emange or megasquirt

emanage blue has 5 point fuel correction of +/- 20%, with injector an ignition harness, its till far better than the Apexi

Apexi Neo has 16 point fuel correction of +/-50% but no ignition or injector features but can be tuned through the unit, whereas with the emanage, u need the tuning cable, software an laptop.....i dunno bout the megasquirt, but think about what u really want...

BTW, AFC 2 is 8 point fuel tuning...

so if i used apexi neo and is there a seperate unit i can use for adjusting my timing like use two different units? lol sorry guys i dont know alot about electronics thanks for bearing with me
