Sorry, did I accuse someone of mentioning religion? No.
However, I mentioned it due the fact that a lot of people are against it for that reason. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it's one of the main reason people are against it.

Religion has alot to do with how many people think and in most cases sets there view on many things not only this but alot of things around the world, im not religious at all btw. But at the end of the day abortion is an option that should be available to all, people may not agree under what circumstances its used at times but everyone should have the right too choose, regardless if its someone who has sleeping around, made a mistake and ended up pregnant, people make mistakes, people change, and if they feel they cant cope with a child, and the option is there what should they choose? something they dont want? or a chance as they see it too set things right for themselves? I believe that people who consider abortion should be able too choose. If someone doesnt agree with abortion then they'll never consider it, both are fine in there own right and all your going to get with this thread is split opinons, and a never ending arguement as people believe what they consider right. and will stick too there belief.

Yes, he's obviously an example of physical perfection like his father and hence fought through all the defences with ease.
I am for abortion, I think it is a person's right to choose, I do think that the time limit should be lowered to say 16weeks however.
Especially here in Northern Ireland, all of our million political parties bound by law to have a place in government are Religous nutjobs who are against abortion along with just about everything else, because of that it's nigh impossible to get abortion properly legalised here when a large portion of the population are for it.

I have to agree with wes here. If you are going to have sex be safe simple as but they will come a time when something will fail. Like a bust condom or she forgot to take the pill. Imo if this does happen both people should step up and live with the out come of there actions.
I know of a few girls that take the morning after pill like its smarties. Week in and week out they have unproteced sex and they know all about safe sex. I think they are just fucking lazy and dont give a shit as long as the doctor keeps handing them out. As for religion been a factor not in my case the church is a sham imo

Living in Northern Ireland, I feel that the topic is way more sensitive (ie more against) than when I lived in Scotland, and I think religion, or social acceptance? has a lot to do with it. I think its up to the girl, although I know a few girls in Scotland that have had an abortion for various reasons, and I can say that it has taken a toll on them, although their reasons were sound at the time, ie very young etc.

yep same as, my ex gf worked in the local chemist, i remember her telling me that the doctor refused one girl the morning afer pill cos she was coming in for it every other week, something like 4 times in 3 months
Personally its happened me where a girl has been on the pill but been sick a week before, so used a condom, it split so got the morning after pill and a few hours later she was vomiting. I would never have settled down with this girl and personally think that abortion would have been the right thing as i tried to do everything possible. For weeks i was so scared i couldn't sleep it would have wrecked my life tbh.

All you lads saying if a lass is gonna sleep around she should do so safely seem to be missing the point. Its the careless and irresponsible ones that don't take precautions and end up pregnant. Babies shouldn't be raised by careless and irresponsible parents and in circumstances like that where neither the mother or father planned for or want a child, in my opinion abortion is the right way to go.
