I checked, double checked and triple checked the stat before fitment, I may jus do it to see what happens!!

I know it's frustrating but you will get there

So rad had block up, bloody hell must be some shit in the system lol

You know that, I suppose it is 20 years old lol

maybe you need to consider draining your old coolant from your system and refilling with fresh coolant...hopefully get rid of any crap in the system so it doesn't clog the new radiator
