Air filter Relocate

Ive seen a lot people do it looks good gonna do it but i hav a question what do i do with this??

just cable tie it out of the way
dont block it off or you will be in low boost constantly

yes its okay to disconnect

Mate you can relocate your filter to where you want to most ppl put it just behind the front bumper when your more likly to get cold air

you still running standard turbo? You better hope u don't get boost creep and end up hitting fuel cut once the filter is relocated..... it's a bitch

lol yea it's annoying as hell! Has it got to the point where you've thought about fixing the problem or not?! I got really pee'd off so went n bought a hybrid You gonna make your own relocation kit or buy one from a trader?

Im gonna have a crack at makin one looks handy enough jus gettin the gear and that
Am i right in thinkin i jus need tubing and a silicone bend?

All I did was to get 2 90 degree bends (silicon hose) and an aluminium hose joiner and then jubilee clip them together

I had a relocation kit for my standard ct9, that was a samco one. I just copied that one! I got the bits for the hybrid from ebay. My filter at the moment bends round the radiator and it sits opposite the grill so gets plenty of cold air. Also the air filter is bigger than the inlet of the turbo so you need a reducer, another reason y i got 2 90 degree bends. What were u thinkin of doin? Just one 90 degree?

Well one bend comin out were d old hose came out then tubing up to the bumper attatch air filter ! Yes! No! Lol or am i wrong in thinkin its dat easy

Don't see why it wouldn't work. I've seen one that was done like that before i think. How you gonna support the filter tho? Mine isn't attached to anything! It just sits on top of the front mount lol

Should be able to find them on ebay mate. Although not sure if they will do such a big reduction. You measured it up yet? i think inlet is about 54mm n air filter will be something like 60 or 62 or something not sure of exact measurements.
