Ive gone mad and bought an Alfa 145 cloverleaf!!
Ive had it 2 weeks and it hasnt broke down yet!!

Its even faster than the Wifes Glanza (Unmodified) on the straights, but feels a lot slower on accelaration.
It was only 700 quid for a W plate!!

Anyone else had an Alfa or had a bad experiance with one?:)

I am just waiting for it to break down!!
Already The heater doesnt work, it knocks when I drive over bumps,a back wheel is at an angle the handling is terrible. Too much body roll and to think this was the sport model:)

Get a good 2 litre one and they are really good cars. All Alfas are notorious for going through suspension bushes every 20k, change all of them for polybushes and it'll handle 10x better. I used to have a 16v Tipo and borrowed a friends Alfa 33 1.7 boxer 16v. When they were on form, they were brilliant cars.

A mate of mine has got a 145 1.7 boxer, it's a complete shitter!
The dash lights up like a christmas tree 99% of the time and it's a complete arsehole to work on.

He likes it though!

It is the 2 litre twin spark. Its a good engine.
The suspension is whats making the knocking. Its a weird driving position and the dash isreally dated. Drives ok though:)

Them boxers sound good but they stopped making them agaes ago
