any 1 had fitment issues with the hid style short hot pipe

fitted a fmic on my gt run around and having big issues trying to get the short routi hot pipe to fit and geta good seal on the turbo, i have had to attack the pipe with hammer as it was fouling the power steering pipe and not i cant get a good seal on the turbo to hot pipe, is it safe to use the copper xs high temp instant gasket around the flanges( a small amount around the out side) so i can try to get a air tight seal as its leaking boost past 0.4 bar

I just bent the power steering pipe out of the way and bolted the turbo outlet pipe straight on.

I have bent it as far as I can but it still needs more room, gonna bend the hot pipe a bit and see if helps

Ah didn't bend it that much, gonna have another crack at it in a bit, is the PS pipe quite bendy s far as metal goes or dose it become brittle with age??

It'll bend, just be a little careful and don't over do it. My method was grab the pipe with both hands and give it a pull, and then I bent the power steering pipe.

Cool, didn't end up doing it as its raining but will get my v out garage and gt in tommro and have a crack at it
