The road were finaly clear today after two weeks of hell, so decided to take starlet out for a drive this evening. On way home noticed a strange noise so pulled over at next lay by and just before i stoped a loud bang followed by altenator light coming on (engine still running) turned car off and got out and noticed my bottom fly wheel on floor 
. Too dark to see if bolt has snapped or come undon, just wondered if anyone has encountered similar problem ? also to add the flywheel has not been touched in at least two years after engine was rebuilt so nothing to do with recent work undertaken. Not a problem as will have the engine out tomorrow and inspect damage to crank keyway ect. so just a general curiosity question to see if anyone has had a similar problem or should i send out the hunting party to chop someones fingers off for tampering :teach: ha ha ha cheers all
