anyone here use any scan tools?

jus wondering if scan tools are any good..cuz i am thinking of buying a scan tool...for ma old man garage but dono which is the best one...i already have a Snap on Modis..but its a US version so it dont work here...
i have a choice of 4
Star Autoboss--does mostly jap cars
Carman Scan VG--better then autoboss but mostly jab car
Brain BEE--this does euro cars
TEXA ---this does euro aswell

anyone here own any of them or used other scann tool which u think are good...

they tend to be for obd or eobd which unfortunately the starbo cant take (old skool) lol

i use ford ids which is a decent bit of kit , obviously only for fords and some mazdas

i used the autoboss for ma starlet abs problem
and carman vg yestarday jus to check if it works shows all the starlets model and stuff will go with a carman vg
