Cheers Adam. Any manual users around? Everyone was raving about the avcr when I asked about em, there must be someone that can tell me how theirs is set!

i have one ,but it was set up when i bought car ,great piece of kit,you have 3 options to set different maps,on off mode car runs low boost ,but when you change to setting b ,feels like a different car ,pulls like a train ,on setting A ,not as hard, i'm only running standard boost .65 ,will be getting it set up in the next month or so ,when i finish fitting all my new mods ,setting hks actuator to .8 and then on avcr on setting b will push it to a bar,so should be nice

i have no idea mate, would'nt be clued up on that end,but there is massive difference between settings, think it is the same boost ,but it feels more torquay in different settings ,but boost level stays the same ,as far as i can tell

avcr can be tricky, excellent ebc but a little over the top for the average user. at the most basic u set the desired boost and then play with the gain til u get the best tradeoff of reponse vs overshot
it can't necessarily do boost by gear, only start duty, which allows u to set the initial boost for each gear but it doesn't maintain it throughout only immediately after the shift. a nice feature is the boost by rpm, if u realise ure car tapers off or runs outta puff high in the rev range u can raise the duty cycle in the corresponding rev range so boost is maintained. contact autofixed.co.uk, they are very willing to answer questions, at least in my experience

Is that from experience mate? I'm sure in the manual it says you can select boost by what gear your in.

ye with my car ,it feels like it gets a second kick just after 5000rpm,unsure if that is the avcr though

Sorry, I'll rephrase that. Fur is your description of the avcr from your own personal experience? I know you can set boost by revs but I was sure the manual said you could do it by gear too.

And back to my original question, how is yours set up?
