B*llocks, forgot to tax me car

is tax over there the a rego? is it the only thing you have to pay for the car 2 be legal? (just crueious im over in NZ)

When taxing the car you also have the have an insurance policy on the car and a valid MOT certificate (as mentioned).

The loophole of all this is, as far as I know if you do get it taxed, and your insurance cover expires shortly after you can still leave the car on the drive and possibly on the road with just the TAX and MOT but no insurance? ^o)

You can drive to an MOT appointment without an MOT or Tax. Or technically insurance either, because a vehicle that isn't taxed or MOT'd invalidates insurance anyway.

to make things even better, there is a postal strike on at the moment, so i'm still without my tax disc (although i've paid and got a receipt for it ):homer:

think i might have to put a sticker saying tax in post, delboy style.

I've paid 104.9 for bp ultimate :( shocking the price of petrol, but this will never change in the UK no matter what government is running it.
