best way to remove aircon compressor?

what is the best way to do this? have all the pipes disconnected and will get a shorter belt tomorrow.

is it just a case of a few bolts and it comes off or is it a bit more of a bastard than that? also how heavy is it really? want to know what to expect when lifting it off!

Slacken the belt, then it's 4 bolts holding the compressor which you can get to from under the car. Just watch yourself when you undo the last bolt. There's also a plate there beside the comp which you can also take out. You will also need the 2 pin pressure switch from the old ac pipin' so that your rad fan operates correctly.

i havnt removed that bit of piping yet mate so the pressure switch is still in so wont have the fan constanly on problem as yet. when i remove it ill just make and adapter at work to bridge it out!
