boost gauge problem!!

i have a problem with the boost gauge i got!! it a smoked one like defi and had to wire it up to the ignition did that i thought i had it right but when i turn the ignition on it comes on then when i turn over the car it just turns off??? dont know what to do!! been at it nearly a hour now!! any ideas or help is needed! cheers lads!!

sounds like its wired wrong or its turning itself off as a safety thing.

was thinking wired wrong but tried it other ways and it wont even turn on but it does the way i have it now but not when u turn the car on!! anyone wire up anything like this and can help me???

I wired mine to the cigarette lighter and it works fine

i wired minein with the side lights.

but those anyone know why it wont work when the car is turned over it wont turn on???

does it have to b wired into ignition?
as the other guys said there are alot of circuit options......mine seems to be wired into my retracting mirrors
