boost hi/low help

well lads anyone got any reason as to why my glanza is only running low boost the whole time? the car is running around .5bar reagardless of what the hi/low switch is set to! also can some one explain how to turn up the boost or bypass the solenoid with out the standard intake pipe?

No it wasn't unclipped lad, the clip is sound. Would it make a difference if the 2 hoses where switched? The hoses the original went into the standard air intake pipe is just blocked off now due to filter relocation

your car is running low boost constantly because that pipe is blocked
just vent that pipe and you'll be running right again

thanks kieran, and by vent do you mean in any specific way or just simply unblock it? also i have since just unblocked the pipe and things seem to be grand now as in i have hi/lo again, but when i put the boot down in hi boost i can hear this whinning noise?? any ideas.? also thanks for the replys last time lads rep added to ye all!!

Its like a faint screaming noise, I'm shit at explaining things lads. It gets louder the faster ya go and for some reason it is only when I am in hi mode. All reply greatly appreciated lads

id say you have boost leak check intercooler pipes and boost pipes for leaks

Kieran that hose from the solenoid to the old efi pipe was plugged with screw and when you said vent I just took out the screw. Should I do something with it cos I just left it thrown there open

leave it open lad you can tie it out if the way if you want

can any1 give advice on bypassing hi-lo ??? seen tutorial but dont exactly understand what "loop these two" means do i disconnect them fully ?? will give reppage !!!!!!!!!!!!

its simple just look at the tutorial pics thats what bypassed solenoid looks like so just make sure yours looks same.
