I have recently fitted a wepr side exit exhaust and while the exhaust was off I ported the wastegate,I hae rebuilt her up with my new parts..all vacuum lines are on....and I'm only getting 0.3 -0.4 of a bar on full throttle....I disnt go too far with the porting only a couple of mm's and I made sure the seal
Was still ok.thanks Andrew

Ok,sorted the problem out..one of my intercooler pipe silicon hoses had split....now I have another query.
My spec is:
Stainless manifold
Ported waste gate on standard ct9
Blitz air filter
Wepr custom side exit exhaust
Front mount intercooler

Now my issue is that I'm getting full boost again properly 0.6bar...but not till 3000rpm...I think this seems fairly high considering the mods?

Can anyone shed some light please

Anyone help me out?im thinking my stock actuator is old and workout and can't hold pressure under full load causing it to leak boost pressure

If its still a stock actuator chances are the spring has become weak. Worth changing mate to an adjustable one with a stronger spring and also gives you scope for the future. *Cough* got an actuator laying here for sale *Cough* ;)

Am I right in thinking if I put a spacer invetween the bracket for the actuator and turbo it will in theory kind of shorten the rod or put it under more tension to increase boost or make the rod have more tension to stay closed under load?

Yes it will increase the preload on the actuator, same idea as shortening the rod.

But if the actuator is weak then I'd be swapping it.

I fitted two washers today and I'm now getting 0.7bar of boost! Mite slip one more in and see if I can get it as close to 0.82 bar as I can and not hit fuel cut
