strange one this....

basically my car was boosting to 10 psi so i wanted to adjust it 12 psi. simple job....i adjusted the actuator a few turns in the way(shortening the arm, its a hks actuator) and took it for a run. the first thing i noticed was that that the vacuum pressure was dropping to -30 on idle. then wen i boosted i only got 5 psi??

i put the actuator back to how it was set before and nothing changed. randomly tho last night it decided it was going to boost to 9 psi with the vacuum only dropping to -25?

any ideas wat could dbe wrong, i have changed nothing apart from the actuator.

cheers

When you say you adjusted the actuator, did you undo the nut and twist the end, or twist the whole arm?

undone the nut and twisted the end, not the arm, thats bad..:p

if i had done that i could understand but it was all done correctly i believe.

im goin to play wit it tonight, see wat i can find. sounds like an inlet leak from wat i have been told, could just be coincedence it happened at the same time!

Well theres a chance that when you upped the boost on the actuator the extra pressure has loosened a pipe on the fmic.
Is there a high pitch noise when you boost or is the boost alot less in higher gears, if so double check all your joins + clamps
