borrow or buy - engine crane

I've decided to have a go at an engine swap myself, so need an engine crane. I'd be willing to buy a used one that I can then sell on, but if anyone has one they won't need for a few weeks and is near Sheffield, that would be brilliant!

I Had one mate but sold it last week, if you only need it once then no point buying it as it will cost you around £170 for a new one which you have to assemble yourself

ya can hire one from a tool hire shop would be cheapest.

I called a tool hire place yesterday, they said £50+vat per week. used ones go on ebay for not much more then that, and I could hopefully resell at about the same price (maybe even a profit), so not keen on hiring...
