You dont need to remove the bottom pulley that goes to the water pump/alternator.this isnt in the way of tensioner.i have recently had to remove/refit the belt as had the whole engine apart. Regards
you have to remove the cover to access the tensioner iirrc so in order to remove the crank pully rotate it by the cam with the notch for the spanner in it then pry the crank pully then rotate the cam gear again and pry the pully then repeat the process until it becomes loose it takes patience tbh lots of it specially if you are doing it on your own.. oh the memories lol
