can anyone tell me what size ring spanner i need to open/close the bleed nipple? i couldnt do them today after fitting the new discs/pads as i didnt have a spanner small enough! and also just to confirm what order do i start in when bleeding?

isit the rear drivers side - rear passeneger, front passenger then front drivers?

reps will be given

I am sure that the nipples are 8mm and to bleed them you start from the furthest nipple from the serov so start at the passenger side rear then the drivers side rear then the passenger side front then the drivers side front its as easy as that as long as the nipples come undone thats the hardest part! I would undo them with a single ex socket first there is less chance of rounding them off if there tight!

thanks for that mate repd, i tried earlier but couldnt get the nipples undone even with an ajustable. i might just drop it to the garage for them to bleed them! my brakes are all squishy, needs a bleed badly!

8mm mate, i do it furthest from servo so passenger rear, then work my way around going drivers rear, then passenger front, and drivers front.

hope helps, even tho someoen beat me to it.lol.

my mechanic always told me drivers front, rear pass, front pass, rear driver. criss cross starting from the wheel closest to the master cylinder. and yes 8mill will do the nipples
