i dont want to be a cunt, or come accross as one.

but this is a heads up.

the last time this engine was forsale, it had a miss higher up in the revs, it was running DTA management, and the owner couldnt get it to run right, so sold it. it was also first forsale over a year ago, in a silver gt, with the same listing the same problem. there wer claims that Dave B built the engine, but i cant remember the outcome of that, i know there was some sort of dissagreement about that.

apologies if it seems like ive ruined your forsale thread, but £1600 is alot for some1 to pay for and engine with a problem.

mmm..Megasquirt..ive been keepig my eyes on these units for awhile i didnt know they were already in use on the Ep's....price?

I aprciate your concerns for every one I was a wAre of this when I bought it and I belive me and my mate have sorted it the only reason I am selling his is because I have ran out of money don't have the time and I have just split up wit my wife not to tell u my life story lol I am open to offers but it sempt to be fine when we where mapping it

Well it was my mate who designed the mega squirt for glanza striaght plug in and to extra wire I bought a lighten pully got it machined and balanced with trigger wheel on with every thin to run it's up for sale for £500

this is where my concer lies tho, how did you fix this?

bearing in mind, when the last owner broke his car, he also claimed to have fixed it, just before he put it forsale.
you have also mentioned that youve only pushed the car, and thats its not mapped yet. so how can you be sure this engine is ok in the higher RPM range?

i am not sayin you havent fixed it, i just think it should have been mentioned from the outset.

I havnt said have pushed car because it is running and I have said peoe come down see it running and take even drive it tht y wonted to sell engine first for drive but I have said it's not mapped properly wen we have been mapping it I have had it up to about 6500 rpm on 0.6 bar but then wen we finish tht little map we put a restrictor on boost so I don't fuck it up as it's not fully mapped I took engine out I we have taken engine apart a fucked about with it for 6 months as I have wonted it to be differnt To other starlet and spot on

as i said before, im not being a pain for no reason.

but you "took it apart an fucked about with it for 6 months" isnt really the answer to how you fixed it.
when it was forsale first of, it was claimed to have a miss at one bar in the higher rev range, and ive yet to see from either seller how it was fixed. again im not sayin you havent fixed it, as it may well have been a simple problem, as i believe, probably due to the coilpack setup. but for you to sell this, you will probably have to confirm how you fixed it.

to be honest i dont no how i have fixed propley and u said they had at 1 bar all i basically did was take quite alot of it apart cleaned bits up made sure things where in right just to double check my mate did change alot of the coil pack and configured different parts for the megasquirt and changed timing and i put new pulley and trigger wheel on which i got enginered as the old one was giving wrong signals but i dont no 100% to how its been sorted butit seem gr8 just needs a good mapping sesion if it takes me to have to pay and get fully mapped and the time to prove that every thing is right i will and u can come and c for your self so we can say tht its fixed
