Hows it goin mate, yea you can run them with rear seats no problem. The clips allow them to be removed in a matter of seconds from the eyebolts too if want passengers in the rear and use oem seatbelts when necessary. Let me know if interested.

You dont need a harness bar to run them.

In Theory your right no you dont need a harness bar to run, but it wont be safe if its mounted to the floor. I am not trying to ruin you sale dude just saying for his sake it wont be safe to just bolt to the floor.

Why would it be safer? Your just bolting them into the stock position where the rear seatbelt buckle was, if it wasn't safe Toyota wouldn't have made that point on the car for a seatbelt.

I read you would be better off in a crash with a harness bar because it is level with your shoulders and if there attached to the rear seat belt buckle it puts pressure on your shoulders when you crash. Just what I read don't quote me.

I am sorry but if you actually look where your seat belts are bolted in the front or even in the back, the bit that supports you is above your head so yes TOYOTA as you say are very safe, or maybe how every car is. The fact of the matter is when your are running harness's if you have the main harness pointing downwards, when your crash the strain pulls down on the seat which can pull on your spine.

If the angle however is more of a 60 - 90 Degree it puts less strain.

So going back to my main point which was it would be rather annoying running it through rear seats :)

GLWS Sorry.

Thankyou, and by FIA standard has to be mounted in a virtually 90 degree angle or near enough.

In a perfect world we would have an FIA approved seat, FIA approved cage with welded harness bar, as a harness bar alone (esp bolt in ones aren't always effective)....A harness bars function is to offer a better angle for in the case of an accident at high speed track use, if it is used without it will still hold you and be a lot safer than your standard seatbelts. 90% of cars with harnesses fitted dont use harness bars, even though I agree it does offer added safety it is not necessary for fitment or function if installed correctly to the rear seat belt location in a GT. Harness bars are only required if were to loop back around the clips to the eyebolt location of front oem seatbelt. This topic can also be discussed in a separate thread rather than clogging up my for sale add as has no real relevance in here. A picture below of that extra added angle a harness bar offers (More horizontal pull) can be seen. We will leave it at that now!

Note this is not a necessary procedure as the angle provided to the rear seat belt location like below is sufficient.

No worries mate, that sucks alright, but you pay for what you get, and you would never see a genuine set even if well used and few years out of date for under 200quid. They make ridiculous money but are the best harnesses on the market! Keep the offers coming lads, brand new set here and will do a good deal posted this week especially if bought as a pair!
