C52 gearbox help

Hey guys, newbie here so be nice

Just purchased an e982, love the car but the c52 LSD box has had a dodgy repair on the casing which is super annoying. It's so hard to find any info about weather I can get a non LSD c52 box and swap the internals from my current box over Into that one.

Is this possible? Will I be able to also fit my LSD or a qauife LSD into that new casing as well?

Any info is always appreciated

The non OEM LSD C52 gearbox does not have the bolt holes to mount the LSD.

You can fit a Quaife or any other aftermarket LSD into a regular C52.

I don't believe there is much crossover in compatibility with the OEM type LSD.

And just to note the rear gearbox mount, bracket and driveshaft are different. If swapping to a regular C52 you'll need all those components aswell.

How dodgy is dodgy tho show and tell lol :)
Should see why the internals wouldn't swap into another box.

Ok thanks for the information, so maybe a quaife is the way to go. So are the non LSD and LSD internals the same? Strength wise?

Thats the wrong mount or bracket on that. Millions of washers to make up the spacing difference.

I'm certain the gears and syncros are the same regardless.

All these parts are getting difficult to source now.

Ok wicked, maybe I can make an na box with aftermarket LSD as a spare
