camskill cv joints

has anyone fitted them recently 23/30 and had any problems with their abs?have to order 2 and dave hasnt got any in stock

you hav changed your cv joint and now the light is on my done this disconect the battery and leave it for 5 mins and then put it bck on that should reset the light and if not has it got the abs ring

or wat prob hav you got with it

lol no man i have to get new joints and i was reading that people were having problems with the abs rings in previous threads

I think they have all this sorted now, but to be sure, when you get the cv joint, just check the abs ring against the Toyota one, should be the same width and the teeth the same height, should then be fine.

I've placed an order with camskill for cv joints, I'm not sure which one I need so I ordered both on Wednesday. Camskill have got back to me today stating they haven't any 23/30 in, but clearly stated they had plenty of both types when I phoned to make sure 2 mins before I placed my order. Not happy at all.
I've got a 97 p reg glanza, do any of you guys know if I defo need the 23/30 or whether it is 23/23. I've got the latter coming just incase.
Bit pissed off with camskill as I use them quite often, but this is a silly mistake on their part. Spoken to my local toyota stealers, whether they've got it wrong I dont know but they want £350+vat!!!

Yeah, Toyota only sell the outer CV joint with the driveshaft, thats why they are expensive.

Dave B at TM Developments also sells CV joint and prob has the correct ones in stock. I needed 23/30 for my V.

Spoken to them mate, all out for at least a week, maybe a month. Managed to source one from a very helpful welshman. Should have it tomorrow. Happy days.
