can sps mani be fitted without taking off turbo and going underneath car?

im in a happy mode and fancy my chances of fitting my sps mani

will i be able to do it without taking off turbo?going under car?

i dont have any new gaskets are they a necessary thing or do people replace the gaskets just cause they may as well since theyre at the job?


i have a sps decat to but that would involve goin under the car wouldnt it?

you will have to take the turbo off due to the mani is bolted to the turbo,
It is necessary for new gaskits becasue you might get a leak then your back to square one, get the gaskits from toyota dont get the cheap ones. you will have to work on top off the car when changed the mani-decat no need to go under the car.The hard part is geting all the old stuff off.

i done mine without taking of the turbo but new gaskets are recommended,its a bit of a nightmare tbh and expect sore hands and bloody knuckles

Well it my recommendation when buying any of my manifolds and decats as a new item replace the gaskets just a standard rule. The choice is yours but after spending good money on a quality manifold why skimp and use an old worn gasket ? Just repalce it.

when your changing the mani your better off getting new gaskets so ya dont have to go taking the mani off after a week to replace the old gaskets.and ya dont have to take off the turbo from the car when your changing the mani.
