Car takes 6 years to start!!!

Hello I've taken my car to the garage and had the head skimmed and pressure tested. And now it's taking 6 years start. It winds and winds about 5 to 10 times before it starts. Before I took it to the garage. It's started 1st or second time.

Why is it doing this? Thanks

I've gOt new plugs etc.

Also my battery hasn't been holding its charge recently. I had to jump start it earlier as it was dead but drove around did about 5 miles. That should give it enough charge to start the engine over fine. I dunno. That could be it.

Have you checked the valve timing yet?

Your timing is out this happened me before... Get a timing light on her to check and also check the position of your distributor cap and make sure its central.

Yeah that was done again today. Got taken back 2 teeth how I had it before I took it into the garage.

Whats the voltage on the battery? Sometimes once a battery is discharged they don't take too well to being jumped and charged up again.
