I would say so buddy, im getting mine put in before the test. Also you might want to get a bottle or 2 or that stuff that gets your emissions down. I just dont want to fail on something stupid like emissions.:haha:

the garage i took my car to are being right cunts, theyve had my car for 3 months now just to get my turbo hybrydized which they said would take 2 weeks at the most, they told me i needed to get 550cc injectors which cost £300 then i found out of people on this site i would have been fine with standard ones. now there saying i need a cat to get it through an mot but im pretty sure last time a just chucked some new plugs in and a bottle of petrol treatment stuff in the tank and it went through fine. seriously thinking about foning watchdog or something. the garage is called sumiyaka in doublebois they claim to be one the best jap specialists in the southwest.

550cc injectors:eek: Mate get your car off them quick they are a bunch of cowboys for sure. Yeah you would be fine on standard injectors or you could run 330cc so the duty cycle isnt maxed out.
Honestly I wouldnt trust them boys at all after hearing that. Are they making your standard CT9 hybrid or did you buy a hybrid and leave it to be fitted?
I hope you bought a hybrid as I doubt they will properly hybrid your CT9 they might even just port it or some shit like that. I would definately want to have a look at the hybrid turbo BEFORE it goes on.

you should of took to JDM garage in holsworthy there the best in the cornwall for jap cars and they are quite cheap and if it didnt pass mot on emissions they just put another car on the emissions test instead.

As for the MOT personally after hearing that I wouldnt put it on. Try and get it threw with a bottle or two of that stuff and if it fails then get the CAT on. But try and find a different mechanic.
