Is this pretty straight forward to do? Just frail the oil, remove the turbo oil
Pipe and unbolt the sump, clean and replace?

Any tips or advice on this? Thanks

E series do not use sump gaskets.
Remove exhaust and cross member. Do not apply the sealant with your finger but apply a continuous 5mm bead in the middle of the sealing surface.
Clean all sealing surfaces with a degreaser or alcohol.

I did it last week.

I had my exhaust off already so it was pretty simple.

Remove the oil return hose.

Unscrew all the bolts except for 2 in the middle, only unscrew them halfway as it will catch the sump when you remove it.

After it's all removed, get a rubber mallet and slowly tap all the edges until it loosens and falls (the 2 bolts u left on will catch the sump).

While you have it out, take off your oil pickup pipe (mounted by 3 bolts) and get it a clean before re-sealing.

I sealed mine with copper gasket glue and tightened it 60% then left it overnight and tightened it up to 100% the following day and left it another day before actually turning the car on (I'm a bit anal about the whole deal of glue setting and what not so it's not necessary to do it for 2 days lol).
