clutch realease bearing fitting

hi i have a bad nosie coming from my engine i been told it is the clutch release bearing, is this job easy to job can i do this myself do i have to take the engine out, help me please. sam

the release bearing in in the gearbox mate (unless i am really badly mistaken and have replaced something completely different lol)

so u have to take the gear box it is possible on your own if u are pretty mechanical but 2 ppl is so much better

yea exactly just have something to support the engine wen the box is of because its only on 1 mount and u will ruin it

its easy with one person, but if your feeble and weak like myself or are working on your back on your driveway, 2 people is a must for getting the box on and off.

its a bit of a bitch of a job to do tbh, i dont really like doing it.

if i were you i would change the rear main oil seal while its off and maybe replace the clutch if you dont know when it was last done. will save arse ache later on.

ask dave burwash (tm-develpments). he should be able to get you one.

i fitted one from him the other day no problem at all
