Computer help please!

Hey,

My PC recently got a virus, and when it was fixed they reformated. They managed to back up everything on the harddrive. When i reinstalled itunes, i just searched in explorer for audio files then dropped them into itunes.

Its only found about 6000 songs, and there was 10000+ before.

Is there any other way to search for my music other than using windows explorer?

maybe they missed some of the files mate?

If you've searched the whole computer using windows explorer, and not found some, they're not there (given you are doing it right, and it would be hard to do it wrong!)

hey james, what are you typing in to search? cos if you use itunes theres various music formats i.e. .mp3 .acc and some others .wma .wav try searching them
