this was a thread just the other day bud and the conclusion to it was ...no it doesnt and forget anything with ct before if your upgrading turbo's ?? someone can correct me if ime wrong but thats as much info as i know on this turbo...

it depends witch CT12.
the one from starlet ep71 will fit straight. now it is not known to be an upgrade...
they work well when hybrided with larger compressor impeller (I had one). main advantage compare to ct9 is they got larger turbine with thicker shaft, so I beleive they should be stronger. but theire is no evidence of this

yes true, it will fit straight on the one from ep71 2ete engine. thats what i had been using initially with the 3ete engine.
but its not an upgrade but rather a downgrade. the exhaust housing is a lot more narrow and therefore restrictive compared to the ct9 exhaust housing. the I.D is smaller as well than the ct9 one.
the ct9 would also fit straight into a 3ete exhaust manifold.

The standard manifold is terrible and should be high on your list of things to upgrade.
