CT9 at 1bar

When running a ct9 at 1bar to what rpm should it hold the boost? My car has no trouble spooling or holding a bar to about 5krpm but whenever i drive it hard and rev it over 5k rpm the boost will rapidly tail off to about 0.75 bar, is this normal for a CT9 or do i have a boost leak? I have relocated the airfilter to the front, and have a ct9 powerup kit with external wastegate and a hdi boost controller. also for those of u running a ct9 at 1bar and have been to a dyno what rpm is max power usually acheived? Any comments appreciated

Should hold to the redline. Looking at this RR sheet I achieved max power on a hybrid at 5.1k, so a CT9 should be a bit earlier.

I thought CT9s dropped boost between 6k and 6.5k

generally you may get a small amount of tail off with the ct9 I'm taking it this has the uprated manifold...with the external wastegate. I would check for leaks though just to rule it out. Do you have a front mount intercooler? Everyones results at 1 bar are very different anywhere from 130bhp at fly to 195bhp at flywheel depending on modifications and engine condition. normally around the 175 area I would have thought average.

Well mine holds 0.8 to near the redline. With an external gate and boost controller it should hold.

yeah i have a fmic. im gonna replace all the jublee clips with some mikalor t bolt clamps 2morrow, so ill double check for leaks.
