Cusco LSD and driver side shaft length

Hi All,

Fitted new engine with cusco equipped LSD in my starlet GT recently, (before engine wasn't equipped with LSD), after fitting engine noticed that driver side wheels have gone a bit outwards. Currently im using standard EP82 shafts. However car is running fine, aggressive driving no problem. What I would like to know is should the driver side shafts be changed when fitting aftermarket LSD? Also is it possible that the standard shaft fits even if LSD requires a shorter one.

Thanks for your help

only the OEM LSD box requires a shorter shaft as far as I know. Do you mean the alignment needs set again on the front?

After fitting engine did alignment and nothing abnormal. Maybe i'll try upload a pic to check if its a standard gearbox or OEM LSD box.

Thanks

what do you mean about the wheel going outwards then if alignment is OK. Do you mean camber?

Long story, car has been accidented in the past. When I fitted new engine noticed driver wheel a bit outwards. But I think its just bad workmanship from the guys who repaired the car, wheel on driver side on front go out of the fenders, whereas on passenger side its inside. Found a link here: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?76445-LSD-box-conversion which shows the OEM LSD gearbox and mine is not like that, so guess it doesn't need shorter shaft just a good repair on the body side.
