CV Joint

i have got a ep82 and was wondering is the outer cv joint a 23/23 or 23/30 and what is the differenc between thm both thx

you need to take the cv joint of the shaft to count the inner splines, its a pain in the ass!
but thats the only way you can do it!!!

why is it like that thought, surely there was some logic when the cars were manufactured as to how many splines were on the driveshaft...????

are the 23/30 out on the glanza V as when we were trying to fit the GT cv joint on my car (aygo) we found that the splines on that shaft are too ruff (presumibly 23/23) and those of the aygo are finer (hoping that there are 30 now ) cos if it is so i will be able to use both sides the glanza cv joints and i will have less problems!
