hi. have been looking at a few threads about torquing cylinder head down. am bolting mine down tomorrow and all threads have come up with the same torque settngs

22nm
44nm
90deg

doesnt seem all that tight to me which is why i ask?

also i dnt understand why stage 1 and 2 are both 'nm' and the 3rd 'deg'

normally a head is bolted down in several stages i know to pull it down 'square' but in a sequence such as:

??nm
??deg
??deg

if that makes sene:confused:

never heard of it being two stages in nm then a degree?

would just like an insight into why this is please?

also does anyone know the cam carrier cap torques please and the valve clearences at al?

thanks :)

Have a search, there all there ;)

Ill give you one to start you off on your journey - cam caps are 13 NM.

As for the head, the above is correct
