Purchased from Hong Kong says it all really.
Yes steel are better as its not as soft as alloy. You sure he don't need extended wheel studs?

Buying cheap alloy nuts is asking for trouble...the composition of the alloy is key for the strength and keeping the threads from stretching/coming loose.
I was a little nervous putting alloy nuts on my car, but I've had no problems with the Rays Duralumin ones. I just put them on, re-torqued after a week of driving and they don't loosen up after that one re-torque.

that is quite a lot. there isnt much for the nuts to hold onto if you havnt got extended studs.

i have never had issues with my D1 wheel nuts. i dont run any spacers and i torque them to 103nm and i have never had them come loose!

Cheers for the quick feedback guys

Forgot to mention I'm currently running extended wheel nuts all round so the lug nuts have plenty of thread to hold the grip but yet again come loose

So i basically need some really good STEEL extended lug nuts

Has anyone any links for steel ones please ??
Cheers

Can standard nuts not be used or do you need them extended for some reason?
You could buy genuine d1 extended nuts and you shouldn't have that problem?

Another question nobody ever asks is are the wheels and nuts you're using a matching pitch if they're not then they'll come loose!
99% of the time that won't be the problem it'll just be the fake crap nuts but it can be a problem!

I think the problem lays more with the fact that your bought cheap ones, which are most likely fake and not made with good materials.
