Disassembly of vent controls?

I need to replace an led on mine as it is knackered. Any idea on how to get it apart without breaking it?

I've taken all screws out, I got the board loose from its tabs at the back, but it seems like the buttons are holding it all in????

Can anyone help?IMG_20220909_181254.jpg

The buttons I'd say will be soldered directly to the board just like the Yaris CD player I trailed apart yesterday to retrieve a CD Bud

The buttons come off. They’re held in by small plastic clips at the back iirc. Will try and get some pics of the damaged one I have in pieces .

They sound like they will break by just looking at them!!!

Pics would be good, may give me an idea of how to attack it without breaking something....

That’s how I know they come off lol.
Mine broke in the most bizarre of ways. That’s how I realised they actually came off. Getting them back on though… now that’s a different story.

Had a look through my crap pile and found a damaged one. The chances of getting it apart without breaking are pretty slim.
Think I will need to get a replacement ☹️

I have just messaged @dac69er on BookFace, but here are pics of the heater control buttons incase anyone else ever needs to brave removing them.
It can be done, but the plastic pincer at the back of the button is extremely delicate/brittle…I’m guessing because of their age. So you need to be super careful when removing them or the button will not clip back into the blue bit in the heater control.
