distributor question

on the shaft of the dizzy where it enters the head
there is an o-ring

is there 1 or 2
i have 2 but have been told they normally only have 1

i have 2no. 24mmx2.5mm rings
i need to replace them and want to know

should it be 2 or 1 ?
and if only 1 what size ?

just one o ring. not sure off the size mate. i just got one from work that fits.

if it seals then i wouldnt worry about it

strange why i have 2 then
typically after years its started to leak !

can you remember if it was a thick ring and fitted the gap
the gap is about 5mm wide ?

yeah. it pretty much fitted the gap from what i remember.
