Do i need to go forged?

Right in the summer when i get some money together im thinking of geting a TD04 kit for my Glanza.......but do i need to forge my engine before fitting the kit? or can i fit it on a standard engine with no problems?

think all it depends on what boost you want to run think is shoould be fine at a bar

Well i would like to have around 230bhp.....but i dunno wat boost you will need to run the TD04 to get that sort of power

If i do have to forge it then i wont bother, ill just get a Hybrid CT9 and be happy with around 200bhp.

u would need to go forged if u want 250 bhp, but ure engine standard would cope with 230 bhp. so i believe. looking for a forged engine myself. lol. ive seen a starlet basically with only forged piston handlin 327 bhp. obv with the usual mods ud expect. crazy

Yeh i would like to go forged, but i dont really wanna be spending thousands on my car......thats the thing.

But my best bet id prob do is just got hybrid much easier, bolts straight on :rockon:

theres a guy on here thats doin forged engines in ireland, £1500 exchange basis likes. try him. most likely help u out.
