Engine noise or just me being paranoid?

Hi lads, as of last week Ive decided im gonna do a complete rebuild on my V due to the work it needs... but Im concerned about a noise Im hearing under hard acceleration.

It comes in to it at around 5K rpm, not a rattle but like a struggling growl or rough grunting?? its hard to explain. Ive tried to record it but the sound is brutal, you cant hear it.

Basically if its something not worth fixing id be better off knowing now than halfway through the build, that way I can just get a new shortblock for it instead and work off that.

Theres 160,000kms on it, and shes bog standard, apart from the HKS actuator. Boosting @ 0.5.

Theres a crack in the exhaust mani, if that makes any difference. I dont have alot of experience with glanza's in general so not familiar with any common problems (If any).

Yea, when I bought the car the bolts were all loose on the cat and on the intercooler pipes so god knows what else could be loose. Doesnt really sound like a valve train noise, does sound like its coming from under the centre console. I wonder if the cat is blocked.
